Webster's Tips for Successful
Appellate Oral Advocacy

During the February 26, 2008 CLE conference call on preparing for oral argument, reference was made to a set of helpful tips compiled by Judge Peter Webster, of the First District Court of Appeal. For the benefit of our members, Judge Webster has agreed to allow us to post these tips, which can be accessed at the clicking HERE.

The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar is a 1700-person organization devoted to promoting excellence in Florida's state and federal appellate courts.

Its members include civil and criminal lawyers, plaintiff and defense lawyers, and others interested in the appellate process.

We invite the participation of those members of The Florida Bar who share our interests and objectives — and hope that they find this web site an open door to our activities.
