Judicial Panel: Ethical Pitfalls in Appeals and How to Avoid Them

Want to learn more about our newest Florida Supreme Court Justice, Jamie Grosshans? Earlier this year, as part of a joint APS/Guardian ad Litem training, Judge Grosshans shared her knowledge and experience with pro bono attorneys interested in taking appeals by providing best practice tips on how to avoid ethical pitfalls when handling appeals. Participants got an inside perspective, helping them be more effective practitioners.

The presentation provides insight into ethical issues in appeals based on the experience of the judicial panelists. The judges share tools to identify possible ethical issues and best practices for how to avoid them.
